NHTI is part of the Saudi Tourism & Hospitality Tourism Company (STHTC), a joint venture company formed between the Saudi Trading and Resources (STAR) - Star Holding Co. Limited in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail (BIHR) – HQ Dadabhai Holdings Group in the Kingdom of Bahrain. STAR Holding Company Ltd. was formed in 1990 and represents the private interests of its Chairman H.H. Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al-Saud, with its Head Office located in Riyadh – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. HQ Dadabhai Holdings Group is one of Bahrain’s largest private companies operating in the education, construction, hotel, warehousing, property management, and car rental and leasing sectors
Established originally in 1999 as the Baisan Institute of Hospitality Management, BIHR has pioneered vocational hospitality, retail and tourism education in Bahrain and the wider Gulf area by fusing local, regional and international influences in programs ideally suited for those seeking a career in the world’s most exciting and rapidly growing industries. The strategic partnership allows NHTI to offer the same specialized vocation Tourism programs in its campus in Riyadh. The programs and curriculum have been made locally relevant and offers internationally recognized qualifications of the highest standards meet the needs of the local industries. All programs are designed in conjunction with relevant governmental and quasi-governmental organizations, for example the Government Organization for Technical Education and Vocation Tourism (GOTEVOT), Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
NHTI has moved into a brand new state-of-the-art campus located on the Abdul Rehman bin Auf Street in the Al Naseem Area in Riyadh city.
